Dr. Carl D. Miller

Dr. Carl Miller graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1989.  While at Northwestern Carl had training in the areas of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, radiology, orthopedics,  neurology, and diagnosis.  Dr. Miller continued his training and later became certified in Spinal Trauma and AMA permanent Impairment Rating.  Since 1989 Dr. Miller has attended over 1000 hours of Post Graduate Education in various topics which Dr. Miller pursues on an ongoing basis to stay on the cutting edge of health care and the newest information and treatment options available.   Being a native of Superior, Dr. Miller has a strong community involvement.  He holds memberships in various community organizations such as Superior Chamber of Commerce, The East End Business Group, and now more recently he is a Cub Scout Leader.  This brings us to Dr. Miller, and his family.  In 1997 Dr. Miller married his best friend and life long partner Susan.  They have four children and are a very active family.  They live together here in Superior with their two dogs.  Superior is very important to the Miller family.  Dr. Miller not only loves to work here, he chooses to live here, and support the community in many ways.  This is his home.

Dr. Laura

Dr. Laura (Siverling) Jonker graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2007.  While at Northwestern she started her pediatric training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association which focuses on maternal, infant, and child health.  Her post graduate training includes a Chiropractic Wellness Advisor program, Nutritional Counseling and Pettibon Technique protocols. Her deepest interests lie in the health of women of all ages and their children.  Prior to attending Northwestern, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin in River Falls.  It was there that she met her husband and best friend Jacob Jonker.  After Jacob was given a teaching position in the music department of the University of Minnesota in Duluth, they moved to the Twin Ports area.  Dr. Jonker practiced in Poplar , WI for a year before joining the staff at Lake Superior Chiropractic.  She lives in Duluth with her husband and their two cats.  She enjoys canoeing, cross country skiing, and the unique culture of the Twin Ports area.
